After Loss Services

Have you found yourself the executor or trustee for a loved one’s estate? Not sure what needs to be done or where to start?  We team up with family members, executors, and trustees to help assess handle the many tasks needed to settle an estate. We can act as your coach, and are also available to take tasks off your plate and handle them as your proxy.  Our services include notifying agencies and companies, helping you find important documents and missing assets, assisting with disposing of property, and keeping the executor organized. Working with us gives you the time and energy to focus on your life, family, and grieving.

  • Referrals to attorneys, accountants, financial planners, estate sale companies, realtors, appraisers, etc.

  • Assist with information about various resources and tools created specifically for people in your position

Provide Resources & Recommendations

  • Securing forms to start the insurance claim process, Social Security and/or Veterans Affairs benefits filings

  • Notifying credit rating agencies to prevent identity theft

  • Notifying financial institutions (banks, credit card companies, investment firms) to transfer and/ or close accounts; assisting with completion of forms

  • Cataloging recurring services (streaming, memberships, cleaning service, lawn/snow removal, pest control, etc.); transferring or cancelling the services

  • Contacting utilities to transfer or close accounts

  • Notifying friends, trade organizations, associations and schools

Property Care

  • Ensuring properties are secured, cleaned and maintained during the estate process

  • Develop a plan to clear out / empty a property to prepare for its sale

  • Assisting with sourcing and hiring professionals such as estate sales company, appraiser, mover and realtor

  • Scheduling appointments on your behalf, answering vendor questions and coordinating work
