I founded Guided Path Estate Services to help individuals and families prepare for and navigate the complex and often overwhelming responsibilities that follow the death of a loved one.

Guided by a passion for helping others and a recognition of the lack of practical and emotional support available to those managing estates after a loss, I founded Guided Path to fill that gap. My mission is to provide clarity, compassion, and confidence to executors, administrators and trustees as they carry out their responsibilities, ensuring no one has to walk this path alone.

I am located in the Chicago area, a proud Michigan Wolverine, having graduated from the University of Michigan for both undergraduate studies and law school. Over the course of three decades, I built a distinguished legal career in government and private sector roles.  I spent 20 years serving in various leadership roles at CDW LLC, and decided in 2025 to leave corporate life and open Guided Path to work with individuals one-on-one with their estate administration needs. In this role, I do not replace a trust & estates attorney, I work in conjunction with them - helping with all of the non-legal administration tasks.

I have seen many friends struggle with the complexities and time commitments of closing down an estate. My goal is to help make this process less stressful and more efficient. I also firmly believe that a well organized plan pre-loss is a gift to your loved ones, helping greatly ease their burden once you have passed; therefore I also offer estate organization services.

I have been trained by and am a member of the national PALS professional organization (Professionals of After-Loss Services). While the majority of my clients are based in Illinois, I may be able to assist individuals in other states, depending on the client needs.

My approach is to support my clients with whatever level of help they need - whether as an organizer, project manager, helping as an ongoing coach, and/or or taking over tasks as a proxy for the executor/trustee.
